Way, Boulder’s first official Demonstration farm. Our Herbal CSA offered
culinary and medicinal herbs and herbal products. Many workshops offered on
soil development, basic gardening, season extension, community design, etc.

Fry Creek PDC, British Columbia, Summer, 2011. Rural BC, course focused on PC
principles to help build cohesion in the community. High level of sustainability
knowledge among the participants and guest presenters.

SW Colorado PDC, hosted by Heartwood CoHousing. Summer, 2012.
Focus on high desert integrated Permaculture production systems, wild forage plants, models of community.

Initiator, Heyteyneytah Project providing support for community leader Stan Addison, Native American Arapaho quadriplegic, horse-whisperer, healer. Director of 20 min. video documentary which spawned an article in Smithsonian magazine and a PBS-TV special. PC principles and ethics worked beautifully on this project. Stan’s reputation for working with troubled youth extended far. He worked with the horses, the horses worked on the youth. Wind River Arapaho Shoshoni Reservation 96-2003

About Zia Parker

Transition skills for earth~body healing : We provide workshops, training, and private sessions in applied knowledge for healing the land and healing our bodies, and understanding the connection between them. The common thread in all of these offerings is that they help us shift our way of being in the world so that we sense and are sensitive to the living world around us. Thus, enabling us to integrate the information coming to us-both from our bodies and the earth-and respond with contributions toward a healthy, harmonious balance with all beings.
